The Marion Dogmas

The Truth is only found in scripture, and if you can’t locate a dogma in the Holy Scriptures then it I not Truth! The Roman Catholic Church is apostate and has what is named the “Marion Dogma’s” and they have no Biblical Basis! Remember the daunting scripture in 1 Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 4:6
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become [e]arrogant in behalf of one against the other.

You are not to exceed what is written!
I will quote the Roman Catholic Church’s own documents.

1. Mary is the Mother of God.

“Mary is truly “Mother of God” since she is the mother of the eternal Son of God made man, who is God himself,” (CCC 509).

“Called in the Gospels “the mother of Jesus,” Mary is acclaimed by Elizabeth, at the prompting of the Spirit and even before the birth of her son, as “the mother of my Lord.” In fact, the One whom she conceived as man by the Holy Spirit, who truly became her Son according to the flesh, was none other than the Father’s eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity. Hence the Church confesses that Mary is truly “Mother of God” (Theotokos),” (CCC 495).

2. Mary was a virgin for her entire life; Perpetual Virginity.

“Mary “remained a virgin in conceiving her Son, a virgin in giving birth to him, a virgin in carrying him, a virgin in nursing him at her breast, always a virgin” (St. Augustine, Sermon. 186, 1: PL 38, 999): with her whole being she is “the handmaid of the Lord” (Lk 1:38),” (CCC 510).

“The deepening of faith in the virginal motherhood led the Church to confess Mary’s real and perpetual virginity even in the act of giving birth to the Son of God made man. In fact, Christ’s birth “did not diminish his mother’s virginal integrity but sanctified it.” And so the liturgy of the Church celebrates Mary as Aeiparthenos, the “Ever-virgin,” (CCC 499).

3. The Immaculate Conception. That Mary remained without sin or stain and was redeemed at conception.

“Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death.” The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians: In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition, you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death,” (CCC 966).

“Through the centuries the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, “full of grace” through God, was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854: The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin,” (CCC 491).

4. The Bodily Assumption of Mary.

“The Sunday celebration of the Lord’s Day and his Eucharist is at the heart of the Church’s life. “Sunday is the day on which the paschal mystery is celebrated in light of the apostolic tradition and is to be observed as the foremost holy day of obligation in the universal Church.” (1167; 2043) “Also to be observed are the day of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Epiphany, the Ascension of Christ, the feast of the Body and Blood of Christi, the feast of Mary the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, her Assumption, the feast of Saint Joseph, the feast of the Apostles Saints Peter and Paul, and the feast of All Saints,” (CCC 2177).

“Finally, the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death.” The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians: In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition, you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death,” (CCC 966).

These dogmas are not to be found in scripture anywhere.
Please pray for the Roman Catholic followers, that the Holy Spirit may come upon them!

James White vs Robert Sungenis on Papal Infallibilty

To this day as an ex-catholic, I cannot see how anyone stays in that apostate church? It is truly frustrating! It is almost as frustrating as the intro music to this video. However, this video has a crucial message to convey to the Roman Catholic.

Please give the true Gospel to the Roman Catholic, and pray for their repentance.

Was It Mary That Crushes The Head Of The Serpent? Genesis 3:15

There are Roman Catholic scholars that have interpreted that it is Mary who crushes the serpent under her heel. Note the Douay-Rheims translation:

I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.
Genesis 3:15 Douay-Rheims

Pope Pius 1x, Ineffabilis Deus Wrote:
Hence, just as Christ, the Mediator between God and man, assumed human nature, blotted handwriting of the decree that stood against us, and fastened it triumphantly to the cross, so the most holy Virgin, united with him by a most intimate and indissolvable bond, was, with him and through him, eternally at enmity with the evil serpent, and most completely triumphed over him, and thus crushed his head with her immaculate foot.

The issue with the RCC position is that the notion of Mary crushing the serpent’s head is contrived over an incorrect translation of Genesis 3:15! The scripture was from the Latin texts of the Vulgate. This has been the official Bible of the RCC since the fourth century.

The truth is that the Scripture was written in Hebrew and the subject is in the masculine and not the feminine. This verse is speaking prophetically of Jesus Christ our Savior’s victory over Satan. Nothing to do with Mary in the least.

The Hebrew scripture reads: “He shall bruise you on the head” Genesis 3:15 (NASB).

Please pray that the Roman Catholic follower turn to Christ and not the Magisterium.

Misunderstood Scripture

One of the most quoted bible scriptures that has been taken out of context. John 3:16. The rest of the pericope is puts it into context:

John 3:16- 21 (NASB)

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

Universalist’s like to glom onto John 3:16 and translate it to say that all are saved, however bible scripture says that not “everyone” is saved!

Matthew 7: 13-14, “13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it”.

Matthew 22: 14, “14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Luke 13: 22-28, “22 And He was passing through from one city and village to another, teaching, and proceeding on His way to Jerusalem. 23 And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ 26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; 27 and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’ 28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.

Are you saved?

2 Corinthians 13: 5-8 “5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? 6 But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test. 7 Now we pray to God that you do no wrong; not that we ourselves may appear approved, but that you may do what is right, even though we may appear unapproved. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth”.

Again, are you saved? Of course you must first know what the Christian faith is and what it means for you to enter into that faith. You must know and acknowledge that there is only one God in all existence and that Jesus is God in flesh, you are a sinner, you need to repent of your sins and that the only way to find forgiveness is to trust in Jesus alone, by faith alone, through grace alone. Do not bow down to idols or statues. Salvation is a gift from God and you don’t need to work for it. Jesus did that on the cross already for the believers!

“Catholic” Does Not Mean “Roman Catholic”

Be certain when defending God’s Word that you keep in mind that there is an air of confusion with the term “Catholic.” By definition “Catholic” refers to and means “universal” and theologically means “the entire Christian Church.” As the Roman Catholic Church does not follow proper Christian doctrine it cannot mean the same and cannot even be called Christian for that matter.
