The Marion Dogmas

The Truth is only found in scripture, and if you can’t locate a dogma in the Holy Scriptures then it I not Truth! The Roman Catholic Church is apostate and has what is named the “Marion Dogma’s” and they have no Biblical Basis! Remember the daunting scripture in 1 Corinthians.

1 Corinthians 4:6
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become [e]arrogant in behalf of one against the other.

You are not to exceed what is written!
I will quote the Roman Catholic Church’s own documents.

1. Mary is the Mother of God.

“Mary is truly “Mother of God” since she is the mother of the eternal Son of God made man, who is God himself,” (CCC 509).

“Called in the Gospels “the mother of Jesus,” Mary is acclaimed by Elizabeth, at the prompting of the Spirit and even before the birth of her son, as “the mother of my Lord.” In fact, the One whom she conceived as man by the Holy Spirit, who truly became her Son according to the flesh, was none other than the Father’s eternal Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity. Hence the Church confesses that Mary is truly “Mother of God” (Theotokos),” (CCC 495).

2. Mary was a virgin for her entire life; Perpetual Virginity.

“Mary “remained a virgin in conceiving her Son, a virgin in giving birth to him, a virgin in carrying him, a virgin in nursing him at her breast, always a virgin” (St. Augustine, Sermon. 186, 1: PL 38, 999): with her whole being she is “the handmaid of the Lord” (Lk 1:38),” (CCC 510).

“The deepening of faith in the virginal motherhood led the Church to confess Mary’s real and perpetual virginity even in the act of giving birth to the Son of God made man. In fact, Christ’s birth “did not diminish his mother’s virginal integrity but sanctified it.” And so the liturgy of the Church celebrates Mary as Aeiparthenos, the “Ever-virgin,” (CCC 499).

3. The Immaculate Conception. That Mary remained without sin or stain and was redeemed at conception.

“Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death.” The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians: In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition, you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death,” (CCC 966).

“Through the centuries the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, “full of grace” through God, was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854: The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin,” (CCC 491).

4. The Bodily Assumption of Mary.

“The Sunday celebration of the Lord’s Day and his Eucharist is at the heart of the Church’s life. “Sunday is the day on which the paschal mystery is celebrated in light of the apostolic tradition and is to be observed as the foremost holy day of obligation in the universal Church.” (1167; 2043) “Also to be observed are the day of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Epiphany, the Ascension of Christ, the feast of the Body and Blood of Christi, the feast of Mary the Mother of God, her Immaculate Conception, her Assumption, the feast of Saint Joseph, the feast of the Apostles Saints Peter and Paul, and the feast of All Saints,” (CCC 2177).

“Finally, the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death.” The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians: In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition, you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death,” (CCC 966).

These dogmas are not to be found in scripture anywhere.
Please pray for the Roman Catholic followers, that the Holy Spirit may come upon them!

“Catholic” Does Not Mean “Roman Catholic”

Be certain when defending God’s Word that you keep in mind that there is an air of confusion with the term “Catholic.” By definition “Catholic” refers to and means “universal” and theologically means “the entire Christian Church.” As the Roman Catholic Church does not follow proper Christian doctrine it cannot mean the same and cannot even be called Christian for that matter.

The Roman Catholic Church Says “We Might Become God”!

Yes as the title states, the RCC says “we might become God”. Read from their false doctrine:

CCC 460, The Word became flesh to make us “partakers of the divine nature”: “For this is why the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of man: so that man, by entering into communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son of God.” “For the Son of God became man so that we might become God.” “The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods.”

Please pray that the Holy Spirit opens their eyes if the RC believes this doctrine!

A Lesson On The Heresy Of Roman Catholicism!

Here is my Brother in Christ Matt Slick explaining how the Roman Catholic Faith has fallen to apostasy, ( total desertion of or departure from one’s religion, principles, party, cause, etc.. ) Dictionary.com

Pray for the believers in the Roman Catholic Doctrine to have the Holy Spirit show them the true Gospel!

The Heresy Of The Office Of Pope

The origins of the office of the pope were pagan in its inception. What the Roman Catholic Church wants you to believe is that the apostle Peter was the first “pope,” however scripture refutes this claim. In fact, the theology of the Roman Catholic Church reads that if anyone denies that Peter was the first Bishop of Rome, they shall be accursed!

Nowhere in the New Testament does it say that Peter took on any role of “pope,” in fact, the Gospels do not even show a whisper of any evidence that any of the apostles held any position of primacy! Jesus treated all His disciples the same and demonstrated this by conferring with all of them.

Peter wrote:

1 Peter 5: 1-5 (NASB)

Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, 2 shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3 nor yet aslording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.5 You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Does that read as if Peter views himself as pope? No, he speaks as a fellow pastor/elder! Look if Peter shows us absolutely no evidence of him being the “Vicar of Christ” and it is nowhere indicated in the writing’s of Paul, why should we trust the Roman Catholic Church of such proclamations of the papacy of Peter?

As for the Roman Catholic term “Vicar of Christ,”” the word “Vicar” is defined as a “substitute.” This is the thought pattern of the RCC as they have stated that Peter is that “substitute” as he is the Lords representation on earth. This is blasphemous as Jesus Himself said that the Holy Spirit is the “Vicar of Christ,” read John 14: 16 (NASB)

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

Also read John 16: 5-11 (NASB)

5 “But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment;9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

I conclude that inlight of evidence of the holy scriptures, the institution of the Papacy has zero credibility.

I pray that the Roman Catholic today, pray for true revelation, and listen to the Word of God in the scriptures. Read: Acts 17: 24-25

24 The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;

Holy Water: More Roman Catholic Heresy

It is in fact not found in any of the Holy Scriptures. It is a heresy of the Roman Catholic Church.

*“The use of holy water in the earliest days of the Christian Era is attested by documents of only comparatively late date. The “Apostolic Constitutions,” the redaction of which goes back to about the year 400, attribute to the Apostle St. Matthew the precept of using holy water. The letter written under the name of Pope Alexander I, who lived in the second century, is apocryphal and of more recent times; hence the first historical testimony does not go back beyond the fifth century. However, it is permissible to suppose for the sake of argument that, in the earliest Christian times, water was used for expiatory and purificatory purposes, to a way analogous to its employment under the Jewish Law.”
*(http://www.newadvent.org) emphasis added.

In fact, some eastern religions, Lutherans, Anglicans and Methodists employ the use of so-called Holy Water.

**“In Ancient Greek religion, a holy water called chernips (Greek: χέρνιψ) was created when a torch from a religious shrine was extinguished in it. In Greek religion, purifying people and locations with water was part of the process of distinguishing the sacred from the profane.
The Book of Numbers mentions using water in a test for the purity of a wife accused of marital infidelity. A ritual would be performed involving the drinking of water. If she participated in the ceremony, and she was guilty, she is supposedly cursed to miscarry any pregnancy. If she was still able to bear children, then she was presumed innocent.
Sikhs use the Punjabi term amrita (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ) for the holy water used in the baptism ceremony known as Amrit Sanskar or Amrit Chhakhna.
In Wicca and other ceremonial magic traditions a similar substance is produced when salt is mixed with water. It is consecrated and used in many religious ceremonies and rituals.
Bathing in holy water is an essential element in Hinduism, and the Ganges is considered the most sacred Hindu river.’

The Book of Numbers mentioning the use of water for purification was of Old Testament Jewish purification law and has been abolished since the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. And that means nothing today when the Roman Catholic Church professes to be still under the Law!

Numbers 8:7 (ESV) 7 Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of purification upon them, and let them go with a razor over all their body, and wash their clothes and cleanse themselves.

Please pray for the Roman Catholic and all others that rely on such heretical ceremonies! We are saved by faith alone!
Romans 4: 5 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,
