Some Quotes from Joseph Smith

Joseph Smith had stated many heretical quotes, and here are a few of them;

1. Smith stated there are many gods:
“Hence, the doctrine of a plurality of Gods is as prominent in the Bible as any other doctrine. It is all over the face of the Bible . . . Paul says there are Gods many and Lords many . . . but to us there is but one God–that is pertaining to us; and he is in all and through all,” (History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 474). “In the beginning, the head of the Gods called a council of the Gods; and they came together and concocted a plan to create the world and people it,” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 5).

2. Smith stated that God was once a man:
“God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted Man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens . . . I say, if you were to see him today, you would see him like a man in form–like yourselves, in all the person, image, and very form as a man . . . it is necessary that we should understand the character and being of God, and how he came to be so; for I am going to tell you how God came to be God. We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity, I will refute that idea, and will take away and do away the veil, so that you may see . . . and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God himself the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth the same as Jesus Christ himself did.” (Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 3).

3. Joseph Smith boasted that he did more than Jesus to keep a church together:
“God is in the still small voice. In all these affidavits, indictments, it is all of the devil–all corruption. Come on! ye prosecutors! ye false swearers! All hell, boil over! Ye burning mountains, roll down your lava! for I will come out on the top at last. I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him, but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet . . . ” (History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 408-409).

4. Joseph Smith stated that the Book of Mormon was more correct than the Bible.
“I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book,” (History of the Church, vol. 4, p. 461).

5. Joseph Smith stated that there are men living on the moon:
“The inhabitants of the moon are more of a uniform size than the inhabitants of the earth, being about 6 feet in height. They dress very much like the Quaker style and are quite general in style or the one fashion of dress. They live to be very old; coming generally, near a thousand years. This is the description of them as given by Joseph the Seer, and he could ‘See’ whatever he asked the Father in the name of Jesus to see”

Please pray for the followers of Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism. The Cult following of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is leading people to hell. The Book of Mormon has undergone almost 4000 changes in its history. Joseph Smith said that the Book of Mormon was “translated by the hand of God”, so why would changes be necessary? Why would anyone believe in this heretical book, and the words of Joseph Smith?

Terminology Tuesday: Kathenotheism

*Kathenotheism is a term coined by the **philologist Max Müller to mean the worship of one god at a time. It is closely related to henotheism. Müller coined the term in reference to the Vedas; where he explained each deity is treated as supreme in turn.

To paraphrase, it is possible to direct worship and serve one of “many gods” at a time depending on the worshiper’s desires. The Mormon religion / cult for example instruct that many gods exist but only serve one of them.

** “Philology” the study of language in written historical sources

What Really Matters…

Sometimes I want to be the guy that knows it all (I don’t). Most of my critics will say I am head-hunting Roman Catholicism, and they would be correct! I was a Catholic, and I have loved ones that are still Catholic! This is the reason that I hammer the truth upon the RCC! I HATE the RCC for leading so many pope followers down the road to hell!

I open my heart to ALL pope followers! I know that there is a girl that is a blog follower and thinks I am a “Catholic Hater” however that could not be farther from the truth! I Hate the RCC! Not the followers. I am soooooo tired of the misleading from the RCC and want people to open their eyes against Rome!

Tomorrow is Sunday. Please pray for the Roman Catholics!

Jesus will be here soon! Amen!

God Bless!

What Does “Born Again” Mean? One Hint…It Is Not Reincarnation.

The correct Biblical definition of “Born Again” is found in the Book of John 3: 3-10 (HCSB) from the mouth of Jesus:

3 Jesus replied, “I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 “But how can anyone be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked Him. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.6 Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again. 8 The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 “How can these things be?” asked Nicodemus.
10 “Are you a teacher of Israel and don’t know these things?”Jesus replied.

The New Testament was translated from the Greek Septuagint and it was written “born from above” and is defined as being regeneration when one becomes a Christian, no longer dead in his sins, no longer spiritually blind and made into a new creature.

Now what “Born Again” does not mean;

The Roman Catholic belief: It means that a transformation occurs when they are water baptized and all their sins are removed and the Grace of God is infused into them.

The Jehovah’s Witness belief: There are only 144000 followers that are born again be with Christ in heaven.

The Mormon belief: Baptism is necessary or they can’t be born again. Being born again, arrives through the “Spirit of God” as a result of ordinances.

Seventh Day Adventists belief: You must be water baptized, a works for salvation position.

The Baha’I belief: Being born again is a “spiritual state” by power coming from the manifestation of God (

The Eastern Reincarnation belief: (Wikipedia) Reincarnation is the religious or philosophical concept that the soul or spirit, after biological death, begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life’s actions.

There are some real issues that throw huge road blocks into this belief for instance, if we are all being recycled (reincarnated)then where are all the babies coming from? As of writing this article there is 7,104,015,836 humans on planet earth ( Reincarnation states there is no creator God, so where are all these new souls coming from? And where did the first humans originate?

Also something to ponder is; how could any progress in bettering yourself be made without a clear understanding of the past cause of your suffering?

There are many more problems posed by the fictional tale of reincarnation, but I will address them in a separate article.

The Christian belief in NO reincarnation is found in Hebrews 9: 27(HCSB),

27 And just as it is appointed for people to die once—and after this, judgment

Also Matthew 25: 46(HCSB),

46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

We die ONCE and there is judgment, pretty clear huh?

Yikes! Mormons Believe This?

One of a few cults that will come knocking on your door is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints aka The Mormons. There are heresies and non-Christian doctrine that they preach and you should be aware of them. Yes I did type that they NON-CHRISTIAN! Beware! Ultimately they deny the Biblical doctrine of Salvation and the very word of Jesus Christ. The name they boldy state in the title of their Church!
It would be wise for you to remember what they believe and when a Mormon Missionary comes to your door you should be gracious first to them, but it is incumbant that you question their beliefs and proclaim the truth of the word of God to them.

Here is a few of the heresies they believe:

– God had sexual relations with Mary to create Jesus’ body

– They believe that the Trinity is three separate Gods

– Gods’ body is comprised of flesh and bones

– Jesus and Satan are “Spirit Brothers”

– Good works are a requirment for the forgiveness of sins

– God was once a man who lived on another planet near the Star Kolab

– Mormons can become Gods of their own realm (worlds)

– There are many Gods

– God is married and creates “spirit babies” after having “physical” relations with his wife.

– Joseph Smith the Mormon prophet and God must consent to entering the celestial heaven

These are just a few, and I mean just a few of the heresies that they believe and preach. We must pray that they find the real Jesus as the way of Mormonism is the way to hell. They are good people being taken down the path to damnation!

Problems with the Book of Mormon

Year after year archeological discoveries are unearthed shining light on the proofs and validity of the Holy Bible. In contrast the there have been NO such discoveries supporting the Book of Mormon.

According to Authors’ John Weldon and John Ankerberg, the Book of Mormon seems to be a fairy tale of epic proportions. They state; “In other words, no Book of Mormon cities have ever been located, no Book of Mormon person, place, nation, or name has ever been found, no Book of Mormon artifacts, no Book of Mormon scriptures, no Book of Mormon inscriptions…nothing which demonstrates the Book of Mormon is anything other than myth or invention has ever been found.”

This puts the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormons) in a bit of a pickle, although they will state officially that the reason is that these proofs of validity just have not yet been discovered. I could go with that if I were to not look at the glaring problems with lack of evidence.

Checking on the website , they propose a plethora of Book of Mormon difficulties, here is a few:

1. The Book of Mormon is not supported by any linguistic evidence

2.DNA disproves that the Laminites are principle evidence of the Indians

3.Why don’t “dark-skinned” people turn lighter after reading it as claimed by the prophets?

4.The Book of Mormon discusses many things that did not exist anywhere in the Americas until after Columbus came to the New World, such as: Horses, Cattle, Oxen, Donkeys, Goats and Wild Goats – 1 Nephi 18:25

Sheep, Swine and Elephants – Ether 9:18

There are many, many more problems with the Book of Mormon so I would suggest checking out some very credible websites and publications that also show the futile efforts of the LDS Church’s defense.

We must pray for the members of the LDS Church to have the Holy Spirit come over them with Holy intervention.

Is The Roman Catholic Church Christian?

Where to start? First let’s define what Christianity is…

The base of Christianity is defined by doctrines found in the Holy Bible. Is it just a belief in Jesus the Messiah? Well Mormons and even the Devil believe in Christ. So “belief” in Jesus does not make you a “Christian” per se. You must believe the Bible as it is clear that Jesus is God in flesh and the creator of everything.

There is essential doctrine to follow, but I will focus on only a couple for the sake of brevity; The Roman Catholic Church breaks two essential doctrines. 1) They promote Mary and the Saints to a God-like status and that violates the Commandment to have no other Gods before the true and living God. The RCC says Mary is the “Mediatrix” (CCC 969), and that Mary atoned for the sin of man (Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma pg. 213). Also that “Mary is the subject of preaching and worship” (Vatican Council 11, pg. 420)

The RCC scoffs at the Doctrine of Salvation by Grace through Faith alone, “…that all Men may attain Salvation through Faith, Baptism and the Observance of the Commandments” (CCC par. 2068). This is a knock to the scriptures as it is plain that the Bible says that Salvation is not attained by works;

Romans 3: 27-30 27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.

The Roman Catholic Church claims to be Christian? It is verified to be quite the contrary according to their own beliefs and writings! They break the essential doctrines of the Christian Faith!

I pray that the followers of the RCC see the truth in the Holy Bible, not their own Dogma! God Bless!

Is Mitt Romney a Christian?

It seems as usual that when the Presidential race heats up, people want to see what the candidates Values, position on Foreign Policy and other key issues are, but what always becomes a hotbed of controversy is the candidate’s religious views and beliefs. This year is no exception as Mitt Romney seems to be on the Christian Right, or is he?

There are many things to consider when voting for the new Republican leader and President for that matter, and some seem more important than others. I believe that transparency is critical, and I would just like to write about Mormonism and the belief that it is Christian or not? I will let you decide and ask you to look at what the Doctrine of Mormonism teaches.

Mormonism has a lot of beliefs that are contrary to the Christian Doctrine. One I find troubling is that the Mormons believe that “the Book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible” (History of the Church 4, 461) That doesn’t sound very Christian, does it? It gets a bit wackier still…”God used to be a man from another planet”, (Mormon Doctrine pg 321 Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons Vol 5, pg 613-614). “God resides on a planet called Kolob,” (Pearl of Great Price pg 34-35). “After you become a good Mormon you have the potential to becoming a God” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith pg 345-347). “Jesus and Satan are spirit Brothers, and we were all born as Siblings in Heaven to them both” (Mormon Doctrine pg 163).

There is much more Anti-Christian doctrine in the Book of Mormon and associated writings of Mormonism, and I suggest you do your research on Mormonism yourself and please don’t just take my word on this. So I ask the question: Is Mitt Romney a Christian? I think truly that only God knows what is in the heart of man and if they are saved or not. The Mormon doctrines slap the face of true Christianity, and I believe that it is harmful. The truth is paramount in this and any other election, be it State elections or National. The thing that I would like to say is that the American people voted in the current President that has a nebulous religious allegiance, and there have also been many Secularists that have been voted into Government in the past and present. The bottom line I think is, do not vote for someone based on Theology but Values. If Mitt Romney is thought of as a Christian, we should certainly call him on it, especially if it is used as a catapult platform. If he is truly a Mormon, then we must wonder how strongly he supports and believes in the Mormon doctrine and the seemingly odd words of Joseph Smith. It could have dire consequences!

God bless you all, and please vote and pray that God will direct you to the right candidate!
