Do you know the Jesus spoke more of Hell than Heaven in the scriptures? Hell is not an imaginary place place, it is not temporal, it is real! Make no bones about it, Jesus gives us ample warning:
Matthew 5, 29-30
Jesus said, “And if your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out, and throw it from you; for it is better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off, and throw it from you; for it is better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to go into hell,”
Some misconceptions of Hell are being made such as:
God tortures people in hell; However hell has not been described as “torture” in the scriptures, but a place of “torment”.
Why would God His people to everlasting, eternal torment? God will punish the evildoer.
Isaiah 11: 13,
Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart,
And those who harass Judah will be cut off;
Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah,
And Judah will not harass Ephraim.
Hell is an eternal separation from God.
The Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that “There is no conscious eternal hell where the wicked are punished, (Let God be True, p. 79, 80). Instead, it is the grave where people who did not follow the Jehovah’s Witness teachings are annihilated and cease to have existence. “God’s Word says nothing about eternal torment of lost souls in a fiery hell as being the punishment for wickedness. Instead, it simply says: ‘The wages sin pays is death.’ ‘The soul that sinneth, it shall die.’ ‘All the wicked ones he will annihilate,’” (Watchtower, 3/1/1960, p. 134).
FALSE!
Matthew 5:22
“But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.
The LDS states: “Hell is outer darkness, a spirit prison, but is not forever. It is also sometimes said to be the lower levels of the heavens. Therefore, it would consist of the telestial and terrestrial kingdoms where progression to godhood is forbidden.”
FALSE!
Jude 6-7:
6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
Christ’s sacrifice would be entirely meaningless and cruel unless there is a place called hell!
Everyone who entered hell actually wanted to be there, as strange as that sounds people love their sin too much to give it up! Please pray for the salvation of those who scoff at the reality of hell. Salvation comes at a great price!
Matthew 16:24-27
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his [y]deeds.

I have wrote this numerous times before, however I will write about this again. I have no problem answering questions and dialoguing as long as it stays on topic. I do not have the time of day to chase rabbit trails and field insults! Insults and circular arguments are worthless to everyone. I will not post a comment if it turns down that road.

The Roman Catholic Church is quite clear in their stance that Roman Catholics must have “Good Works” as well as Faith to be saved. It is in their Catechism:
The specific precepts of the natural law, because their observance, demanded by the Creator, is necessary for salvation,” (CCC, par. 2010).
“The Decalogue [the Ten Commandments] contains a privileged expression of the natural law. It is made known to us by divine revelation and by human reason,” (CCC 2080).
” . . . the Second Vatican Council confirms: ‘The bishops, successors of the apostles, receive from the Lord . . . the mission of teaching all peoples, and of preaching the Gospel to every creature, so that all men may attain salvation through faith, Baptism and the observance of the Commandments,'” (CCC 2068).
However this is not a biblically based doctrine. It is a dangerous doctrine that if the Roman Catholic believes, will be on their way to hell. The RC will cite the book of James as proof that works are required for Salvation! However this is not true.
James begins this section by using the example of someone who says he has faith but has no works, “What use is it, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him?” (James 2:14). In other words, James is addressing the issue of a dead faith; that is nothing more than a verbal pronouncement. It is empty of life and action. He begins with the negative and demonstrates what an empty faith is (verses 15-17, words without actions). Then he shows that that type of faith isn’t much different from the faith of demons (verse 19). Finally, he gives examples of living faith that is words followed by actions. He writes of Abraham and Rahab as examples of people who demonstrated their faith by their deeds. In brief, James is examining two kinds of faith: one that leads to godly works and one that does not. One is true, and the other is false. One is dead, the other alive; hence, “Faith without works is dead,” (James 2:20).
Please pray for the Roman Catholic follower to repent and leave that apostate religion.

Whenever a critic wants to suggest that God does not “predestine” individuals for salvation, you can defend the accusations by citing the following verses, and there are much more than these:
Act 2: 22-23; 22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— 23 this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.
Acts 4: 27-28; 27 For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.
Romans 8: 29-30: 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
Ephesians 1: 4-5; 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,

“I know the resurrection is a fact, and Watergate proved it to me. How? Because 12 men testified they had seen Jesus raised from the dead, then they proclaimed that truth for 40 years, never once denying it. Every one was beaten, tortured, stoned and put in prison. They would not have endured that if it weren’t true. Watergate embroiled 12 of the most powerful men in the world-and they couldn’t keep a lie for three weeks. You’re telling me 12 apostles could keep a lie for 40 years? Absolutely impossible.”

Here is a very interesting article, scripturally accurate about the possibility of the Rapture of Jesus’ followers this year. I have bookmarked it and will consider the article for further review. I have also ordered the book “The Witness of the Stars” by E.W. Bullinger. I know that the Rapture is always being predicted, but this article looks like a valid argument!

I love it when people engrossed in Scientism say they only need science because science will eventually fix everything and answer all our problems. They will go on to put down and ridicule believers in God and his writings in the Bible stating how can you believe in what is written down in an “old book written by desert peasants?” Let’s look at some of the past failures of science and ask them ” You put faith/trust in something with this track record? Here we go:
“Piltdown Chicken, Chernobyl, Mercury Fillings, Thalidomide, Hole in the Ozone Layer, Global Cooling, Global Heating, Darwinian Evolution, Iridium, Silicone Implants, Y2K, MTBE Contamination, DMSO, the Fen-phen Fiasco, Over Use of Antibiotics, Aspartame, Saccharine, and Lucy for a slice of examples of vacillation and failures of science.
As for a “dusty book written by peasants”, there are 45+ Prophecies that have been fulfilled and plenty of examples of the bible speaking about so called “scientific discoveries” of modern times in that “dusty book”! For example: The round shape of the earth, earth is suspended in nothing, the stars are innumerable, the existence of valleys in the seas, the hydrologic cycle, concept of entropy and many more!
Don’t get me wrong, I am a lover of science and believe that science is a gift from God in many cases. Science also exposes the wonders of creation. Scientism does have major problems and I believe the biggest problem is that the Gospel is forgotten in the mix.
Isaiah 44: 6-8
6 “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
‘I am the first and I am the last,
And there is no God besides Me

This is a precursor to what we as Christians will be facing! Oh yes, Christianity is not an easy road! I will see them after death and will pray for them as the persecution continues!
Keep the faith Christians!
