The Dangers and Errors of the Baha’i Faith Part One

There is a religion out there that is gaining popularity and I would like to write on the dangers and errors. Errors because I was told that it was only different to Christianity in a few ways; I will try to correct that opinion in a series of posts. First a quick history;  A Persian named, Baháʼu’lláh was the leader of the Baha’i religion, and died in May 1892.He started preaching that God would soon deliver a new prophet akin to Jesus or Muhammad. He later claimed that  “he” was indeed the prophet that he foretold would arrive, a so-called manifestation of God! That was very brief But I would encourage you to read more about his biography and the religion as it is fascinating how demonically influenced this truly is!

So with that brief opening I will start this series on the Baha’i Religion and it’s grave issues.

They believe that there is only one God and no Trinity.

According to the Christian Faith God is a Trinity made up of three distinct persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Although the Bible does not explicitly use the title “Trinity” it is evident throughout the teaching of the Bible. The Baha’i religion is following a basic pattern of most cults, and that is denying the Trinity. See Matthew 28: 18- 20 NASB

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Also read 2 Corinthians 13:14 NASB:

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

Notice just as the Muslims bemoan that there is no mention of the title “Trinity” so do the Baha’i followers, but that is a clear discount of biblical scripture.

I will continue this series and hope it will not misrepresent the Religion of Baha’i but expose it as a cult.

Is Christian Science, Christian?

Let’s let the teachings of Christian Science show you that it is not.

It denies the personality of God, that being the doctrine of the Holy Trinity.

Sin is only a figment of your imagination, as they call it “the error of the mortal mind.”

It teaches that there is no evil, and the blood on the cross was not necessary for salvation.

The demons cast out by Jesus Christ were only “false beliefs.”

The Holy Spirit is the perfect science.

Life is not material or organic.

God is the Father-Mother.

There is no devil.

Jesus didn’t die.

God is mind.

Christian Science is not “Christian” nor “Science” and should be regarded as a cult! All the above teachings are found in “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures (S& H) by Mary Baker Eddy. Mary Baker Eddy was the founder of Christian Science. She was born Mary Ann Morse Baker in New Hampshire in 1821.

Please pray for the followers of this cult. They do not believe in the use of medicine or doctors and use agents that are called Christian Science Practitioners.

Please pray to God to show them the Way.

John 14: 6 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

The Shriners; Can They Be Christians?

How could those fun-loving, charitable people wearing a fez and driving small cars in a parade be anything but real honest, altruistic people you may ask? Can a Shriner be a Christian? No says Dr. Tom Hudson an ex-Master Mason and Shriner: “A candidate does not take his oath on a Bible, only on the Koran. In fact, the entire Shrine ritual is Islamic, and a man cannot be a Christian and a Shriner”. He goes on and writes: “The fact remains, based on my personal story, that a Mason cannot be a Christian. It is impossible. The Master Mason (I was one) attains eternal life when he completes his Third Degree and becomes “A Christ” when he completes his Holy Arch Degree. The Shriner-without any doubt or hesitation – converts to Islam when he takes his Mystic Shrine oath. Not kidding.”

So what is the “Shriners Oath”? ETERNAL LIFE!?

”Candidates for induction into the Shriners are greeted by a High Priest, who says:

“By the existence of Allah and the creed of Mohammed; by the legendary sanctity of our Tabernacle at Mecca, we greet you.”

The inductees then swear on the Bible and the Koran, in the name of Mohammed, and invoke Masonry’s usual gruesome penalties upon themselves:

“I do hereby, upon this Bible, and on the mysterious legend of the Koran, and its dedication to the Mohammedan faith, promise and swear and vow … that I will never reveal any secret part or portion whatsoever of the ceremonies … and now upon this sacred book, by the sincerity of a Moslem’s oath I here register this irrevocable vow … in willful violation whereof may I incur the fearful penalty of having my eyeballs pierced to the center with a three-edged blade, my feet flayed and I be forced to walk the hot sands upon the sterile shores of the Red Sea until the flaming sun shall strike me with livid plague, and may Allah, the god of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the god of our fathers, support me to the entire fulfillment of the same. Amen. Amen. Amen.” *

With this oath, Christians swear on the Koran, and declare Allah to be “the god of our fathers.” From the perspective of Christianity and Islam alike, Shriners take the name of God in vain, and mock both faiths.”

Here is a testimony of a past member of the Shriners, that explain the bizarre and anti-Christian rituals that they perform written by William J. Schnoebelen:

Does this all sound Christian to you?

Video – On this 2-minute interview with a Shriner at the Southeastern Shriner’s Convention in Chattanooga, TN the summer of 2007, this Shriner not only confesses that He is Lucifer, but he also adds that Lucifer is “Pure, Virtuous, Wholesome and Innocent!” Google Video Although they still confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and claim to be “born again,” these men declare that Lucifer is “good!”

Matthew 7: 21-23 (NASB)
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

What Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe? Is It Christian?

What should you question the JW’s on when they come knocking? Well here is a collection of JW beliefs and teachings, and no, they are NOT Christian!

Each of the six creative days of God in Genesis 1, was 7000 years long.
Therefore, Man was created toward the end of 42,000 years of earth’s
preparation, Let God be True, p. 168.

The universe is billions of years old; Your will Be Done on Earth, p. 43.

It is possible to lose your salvation, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p.
358-359.

The Cross is a pagan symbol and should not be used, Reasoning from the
Scriptures, 1985, p. 90-92.

There is one God in one person, Make Sure of All Things, p 188.

The Holy Spirit is a force, not alive, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, pp. 406-407.

Jesus was Michael the archangel who became a man, The Watchtower, May 15,
1963, p. 307; The New World, 284.

Jesus did not rise from the dead in his physical body, Awake! July 22, 1973, p. 4.
Jesus was born again, The Watchtower, Nov. 15, 1954, p. 682.

Jesus did not die on a cross but a stake, Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985,
p. 89-90.

They claim to be the only channel of God’s truth, The Watchtower, Feb. 15,
1981, p. 19.

The soul ceases to exist after death, Let God be True, p. 59, 60, 67.

Only the 144,000 Jehovah’s Witness are born again. Reasoning from the
Scriptures, 1985, p. 76.; Watchtower 11/15/54, p. 681.

Only the 144,000 may take communion.

Salvation is by faith and what you do, Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 1, p.
150,152.

Satan was entrusted with the obligation and charged with the duty of
overseeing the creation of the earth, Children, p. 55

Jesus was only a perfect man, not God in flesh, Reasoning from the Scriptures,
1985, p. 306.

There are much more heresies that I did not indicate. When a JW comes to your door, we as Christians are to give them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though they are persistent, we as Christians still need to remember they are lost, souls. They are also made in the image of God, so please be respectful but direct at the same time.
