“The Insulting Richard Dawkins”

“Why do people laud this man as a deep thinker? He is amazingly facile in his thought and his answers. Here is an example. Update: I keep forgetting that when you address atheism on YouTube, you turn off comments since atheists have no moral restraints so as to control their tongues, or, in this case, their keyboards. My apologies.” Dr. James White.

  1. I cannot convince you of anything Theological. What did I say to try and convince you anyway? I think you should call in to Dr. White’s radio show and convince him? As a natural man you cannot understand scripture anyway! 1 Corinthians 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
    Thank you for your comment.

  2. ‘Atheists have no moral restraints’

That is what I love about atheism, the worst you will ever see from an atheist is an angry YouTube comment! We as atheists have great morality and that is why an angry comment is atheists equivalent of a religious terrorist attack. I always thought that theists blocked comments as the onslaught of logic was too overwhelming?

  3. Great post and video. Thanks for posting!

Dawkins likes to deflect and obfuscate. He (and his ilk, as did Hitchens), they quite often resort to mockery (as you nailed it!) when their argument is weak or if they don’t have an answer. Narcissism, arrogance and bitterness seem to be behind much of what Dawkins utters.

However slight it might be, I believe we all suffer from arrogance to one degree or another. Wouldn’t the debate with those who support another viewpoint be different if there was mutual respect and dignity shown? I long for that day!
