The Sinner Can Change And Be Saved! We Are All Sinners!

Immoral behavior can be forgiven! It does not matter if one states that they were born one way or another, all is forgiven if you change your ways! Do not love your sin.

1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 (NASB)

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Note that the Apostle Paul said, “11 Such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” He is speaking to the repentant sinner.

1 Corinthians 6: 12-20 (NASB)

12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both of them. Yet the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. 14 Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take away the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be! 16 Or do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “The two shall become one flesh.” 17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18 Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Repent and sin no more. This scripture is hard to swallow however it shows we are all sinners in need of a savior. We are all in a fallen world. I love you all as Jesus does!

Animals Raised to the Level of Human?

I noticed today that Global News Calgary has reported on an evil act of animal cruelty. Despicable! However, I am wondering why the writer Sarolta Saskiw used the word “Murder”? Another attempt of the media to upgrade animals to human levels? It was no typo as the word was used twice. See report below:

We have already seen that “Cecil the Lion” has been spoken of as being “murdered” also! See the NBC report:

This has been going on for years now. I first personally noticed this when Seal Pups in Canada were being called “Baby” Seals, as an obvious political move to use a human connection as to appeal to human emotions. Honestly, if the reading public was six years old I could get it!:

Chimpanzees are now apparently “Human” as there is a push in the courts to have them labeled as “Human”! One article even states that “Chimps are almost more human than we are”!

What is the Christian perspective on all this? Man was given authority over animals. Genesis 2: 19-20:

19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam, there was not found a helper suitable for him.

Man was given authority over animals.

The animals were also given to us for food; Genesis 9:3:

3 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant.

And we Christians are to look after the environment: Genesis 1: 26

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

We are to have compassion over the animals: Proverbs 12: 10

A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal,

But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.

However, beasts don’t have rights the same way that humans do. If I need to clarify, animals and humans are different; humans are the ones made in God’s image, not animals.

When you see or hear such words as “baby” and when an animal is killed, and it is said it was “murdered,” please evaluate the statement and question the source! It is an apparent hotbed today in an upside down world. I am an animal lover that has had a few dogs, but I would never use that terminology nor thought process to end with the conclusion an animal is human. God created us in His likeness, not the animals in His image!

Did Jesus Actually Exist?

Recently I had a discussion on social media about the actual existence of Jesus. The person I was discussing this is selling a publication stating, and I paraphrase, there is not enough evidence to prove that Jesus existed. This skeptic even went as far to say that Jesus not existing does not invalidate the gospels! Well, I am afraid that without Jesus there is no Christianity. There is no atonement for our sin! There are more skeptics out there as well.

*This stance becomes problematic when we weigh the evidence that we do have. There are 43 plus sources within 150 years after the death of Jesus.

The 9 Secular Sources:
Josephus (Jewish historian), Tacitus (Roman historian), Pliny the Younger (Roman politician), Phlegon (freed slave who wrote histories), Lucian (Greek satirist), Celsus (Roman philosopher), Mara Bar Serapion (prisoner awaiting execution), Suetonius, and Thallus.

20 Early Christian Writers Outside the New Testament
Clement of Rome, 2 Clement, Ignatius, Polycarp, Martyrdom of Polycarp, Didache, Barnabas, Shepherd of Hermas, Fragments of Papias, Justin Martyr, Aristides, Athenagoras, Theophilus of Antioch, Quadratus, Aristo of Pella, Melito of Sardis, Diognetus, Gospel of Peter, Apocalypse of Peter, and Epistula Apostolorum.

Yes, even the New Testament authors! The New Testament is indeed a history book, and should be taken as such. There is something worthy to note, and that is there is five times the amount of evidence for Jesus’ life than there is for Tiberius Caesar’s! There is no mention of the destruction of Jerusalem in the Gospels, so this would date them before AD 70! Why would such an event not be noted? Because it was not known of before that date!

There is no better heresy than to deny Jesus, than preaching that He did not exist!
