Big-Bang! Big-Nonsense!

How can a theory such as the “Big-Bang” hold ANY credence?

That theory is an immense invention of unproven assumptions! This is currently being taught in schools and universities around the world! These astronomical hypotheses have been devised to provide a “NATURAL” explanation of how the universe came into existence, not a supreme being! My first question is “who is the banger?” My second question is where did the particles or matter come from to bang? I am not a believer in the Big Bang as I know our Sovereign God ABBA created it ALL! Maybe academia should not make up theories and teach them as “fact”? Huh?

Is There Evidence For A Worldwide Flood?

Genesis 6: 13-14 (NASB)
13 Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. 14 Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall cover it inside and out with pitch.

Genesis 6: 17 (NASB)
17 Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish.

The preceding was from the Holy Scriptures and describes a flood of water upon the earth. Some will argue that it was only a local flood and not a flood that covered the globe…so which is true? Genesis 6: 5-7 is very descriptive and clear that God was going to wipe out all living creatures on the Earth! It reads:
5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 The Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them.”

Today most geologists will discard the idea of a worldwide flood as it is not scientific or historical. I believe there is ample evidence for a worldwide catastrophe as in the flood. Let’s examine a few points.

The Mande people of Mali have a creation myth of an ark that landed on a mountain. This ark had eight humans and the first animals and plants. *

The Arikara Indians in North Australia have a tale of creation that went wrong and was cleansed by a great catastrophic flood. **

The flood is mentioned in the Sanskrit “Shatapatha Brahmana” of the sixth century. It is a story that tells of Manu, who was told by a fish that a flood was imminent that was going to wipe out all of the humanity. He was instructed to build a boat and the fish would tow the boat to a settling place upon a mountaintop.***

These are only a few of the stories that are found all over the world within different cultures. Why is that? Did everyone all have the same dream? Was it all cooked up by the ancient Jews? Of course not.
How could a local flood, for instance, cover the highest mountains? Here is the Genesis description:

Genesis 7: 17-20
17 Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth. 18 The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered. 20 The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered.

In my next article, I will provide observable and historical evidence that points to a Worldwide flood.

Problems With Buddhism

Although many people feel that Buddhism is a wonderful religion or non-religion (that definition appears to be on which follower you ask), and is harmless and has many good points. Many overlook the evidence or lack of it and not realize that it is the work of the devil. It keeps followers of the faith of Buddhism away from the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus clearly said John 14:6 ““I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”” No other way to Salvation other than through Jesus!

“The history of Buddhism is problematic. It has grown from the cultural practices and beliefs from particular parts of the East and there seems to be no evidence for Buddhist beliefs. Not only that, but the Buddha himself lacks any evidence for his existence, apart from the fact that many varied and contradictory stories were once passed on orally for hundreds of years before being written down. It is impossible to separate fact from fable.

*Buddhist traditions all claim that through a long and accurate teacher-student lineage, their practices were those ordained by the Buddha. Yet major divisions exist between the branches of Buddhism as to what practices are good, what are bad, and what the beliefs of the religion are. It is clear that with so many contradictory claims, most Buddhists must therefore be wrong in their beliefs.”

I found this quote from the Dalai Lama troubling:

““Whether you believe in God or not does not matter much, whether you believe in Buddha or not does not matter so much; as a Buddhist, whether you believe in reincarnation or not does not matter so much. You must lead a good life.”
– Dalai Lama XIV

First I wonder where the he gets the idea of “good”? What moral standard does that statement come from? Coming from an atheistic belief (sic), he must steal that from God! Second, how could this statement be more confusing to the buddhist? Third, I would suggest that believing in God DOES MATTER! You won’t want to say to God on judgment day, “I didn’t believe in you”!

The Pseudoscience of Richard Dawkins

Taken from youtube. Any comments? I know it is an edited video. However, Richard Dawkins plainly states his position that “something comes from nothing”? Dawkins maintains that science is still working on the solution. However, he is still resolute on a “no-God” scenario. Perhaps learning maths might be for Dick?

Jesus The Christ Is Risen!

Jesus IS King! Jesus HAS risen!

Matthew 28: 1-20 (NASB)

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave. 2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. 3 And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. 6 He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. 7 Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.” 8 And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples. 9 And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus *said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”11 Now while they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this should come to the governor’s ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble.” 15 And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day.
16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

For this reason, I am a Christian! Through His atoning work on the cross, I am saved!

Random Processes?

Atheists are resolute in their idea that God does not exist. They maintain that there is “no design,” and we are only “the result of random processes of matter.” I ask can the spinning of atoms and protons and the accidental coming together of them produce a brain that will condense pure truth?
