Questions from an Ex-Catholic to a Current Catholic…

Do you think that the Biblical scripture (Sola Scriptura) is enough?

Can you pray to Jesus?

Have you done enough works to be saved?

Why do you have graven images, especially with Jesus still on the cross?

Do you pray to Mary?

How many Bible Scriptures has the pope interpreted?

When you pray to Mary are you praying to the dead?

Is it an issue to you that there is no evidence in the Bible to the following:
-Papal Infallibility
-The bodily assumption of Mary
-Purgatory

God Bless

Ummmm I’m not sure if these are supposed to be trick questions or not?

Do you think that the Biblical scripture (Sola Scriptura) is enough?

    Enough for what?

    Can you pray to Jesus?

    Yes! πŸ™‚

Have you done enough works to be saved?

No, because my works don’t save me.

Why do you have graven images, especially with Jesus still on the cross?

You mean why do we have statues? Because they’re pretty, and they remind us of people we love?

And why is Jesus on the cross? Because it reminds us of everything He did for us, how he suffered for our sins so we can be forgiven. What’s wrong with having Him on the cross? It seems like most Protestants want to water it down and make it just a symbol.

    Do you pray to Mary?

    Yes. πŸ™‚

How many Bible Scriptures has the pope interpreted?

I dunno, probably about as many as anybody else?

When you pray to Mary are you praying to the dead?

    No, she’s alive!

Is it an issue to you that there is no evidence in the Bible to the following:
    -Papal Infallibility
    -The bodily assumption of Mary
    -Purgatory

    But there is evidence!
